Many people deny the existence of ghosts (“Jinn” or “Bhut”). They deny the existence of spirits because they cannot be seen by the physical eye. But the Quran speaks of Jinn in many ayats – which have many deeper meanings. In fact, there is an entire Sura named after them: ‘Surat al-Jinn’.

So what are ghosts and why have they been created?
