The Quran Majeed speaks of Misaaq - the pledge of allegiance - in more than 70 verses. What is the meaning of Misaaq? What is the need for Misaaq? Why has Allah Ta’ala made it compulsory to give Misaaq in every age to the Imam and during his concealment to his Dai? Why has He made salvation and entrance to paradise contingent on Misaaq?
