The Zahra Hasanaat Mazaar-e-Qutbi Welfare Center was founded in 2016 by the head of the Dawoodi Bohra Community, Syedna Taher Fakhruddin Saheb. The center’s facilities and services are open to all irrespective of caste and creed. This manifests Syedna Saheb’s philosophy that societies should strive to be open and inclusive. Syedna Saheb emphasizes the need to restore the tradition of mutual respect and fellowship with other religious communities and engage in enhancing the social welfare of fellow human beings. Syedna Saheb encourages his community to be helpful to all the children of God.

We are pleased to announce the first Zahra Hasanaat Financial Planning Workshop - Security through insurance - in partnership with the Government of India’s Department of Post Financial Inclusion Initiative.

The workshop will engage and educate families about good financial planning and subsidized policies available especially in the Indian market. E.g.

• Subsidized health insurance/ medi-claim (Premium of approximately INR 4,000 per year, coverage up to 3L)
• Subsidized accidental insurance (Premium of INR 400 per year, coverage of up to 10L)
• Subsidized life insurance (Premium of INR 486, up to 2 Lakhs at time of death)

This is the first of such workshops and Zahra Hasanaat is continuing to develop other partnerships and initiatives also that will help people gain stability and security through good financial planning.
