53rd Dai-l-Mutlaq Syedna Khuzaima Qutbuddin RA First Urus - Naseemu Barakaatil-Ursil-Mubarak

Syedna Qutbuddin’s RA successor, Syedna Taher Fakhruddin TUS commemorated the first Urus Mubarak of the 53rd Dai al-Mutlaq, remembering his virtue and shanaat. The grounds of Darus Sakina and especially the Roza Mubaraka of Syedna Qutbuddin were illuminated to reflect the celebration in the Heavens on the auspicious occasion of Urus. “The gentle wind of the barakaat of Urus Mubarak” was ever-flowing (Naseemu Barakaatil-Ursil-Mubarak – the numerical value of these words is 1438, the year of Syedna Qutbuddin’s first Urus). Mumineen Mukhliseen had gathered in Darus Sakina from all over India and from all over the world.
Syedna Fakhruddin observed three days of Khatmul Quran Majlis on the Urus of his predecessor, following the example of Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin and Syedna Khuzaima Qutbuddin. On the eve of the 21st of Jumadal Ukhra, Khatmul Quran Majlis was held in Ivan-e-Fatemi after Maghrib-Isha Namaaz. After Khatmul-Quran and recitation of qasida in shaan of Imam-uz-Zaman SA (Ya azharan zaharat bihiz-zahra’u), the 53-verse-Dawat-ni-Zaban-Salaam in remembrance of Syedna Qutbuddin by Yaqutatu-Da’watil Haqq Shehzadi Dr. Tahera Baisaheba was recited. Syedna then proceeded for ziarat and Mumineen were served Salawat and Fateha Jaman.
In the late afternoon of 21st Jumadal Ukhra, all Mumineen and Mehmaano received qadambosi sharaf in bethak. Earlier in the day a meeting of all Mas’uls who had travelled to Mumbai for Urus Mubarak was held under the sadaarat of Shehzada Sahebs. In Urus Mubaraka Waaz, Syedna graciously bestowed doa mubarak for the nearly 50 Mas’uls around the world.
On the eve of the 22nd of Jumadal Ukhra, after Khatmul Quran and recitation of qasida in shaan of A’immat Tahereen SA (A lisaana sidqin bil haqiqati kallimi), marsiyas composed in remembrance of Syedna Qutbuddin on the occasion of Urus were recited. Shehzada AbdeAli Bhaisaheb Saifuddin then delivered a heartrending speech remembering the ihsanaat and shanaat of Syedna Qutbuddin. Shehzada Saheb also emotionally remembered these days a year ago and relived the memories of the janaza mubaraka of Syedna Qutbuddin. The Majlis was moved to tears. Two other Mumineen mukhliseen also received the honour of speaking in remembrance of Syedna Qutbuddin in the presence of his successor. In the first speech, a Mumin bhai recalled the clarity and sincerity of Syedna Qutbuddin’s khidmat in the time of Syedna Taher Saifudidn and Syedna Mohammed Burhannudin, especially in the context of Udaipur. In the second speech, a Mumin bhai reflected on five extraordinary characteristics of Syedna Khuzaima Qutbuddin: 1) The banner of truthfulness; 2) Fulfillment of commitment to Imam-uz-zaman and his predecessor; 3) Closeness to God; 4) The importance of education; 5) Hujjat of nass. Syedna then proceeded for Syedna Qutbuddin’s ziarat and Mumineen were served Salawat and Fateha Jaman.
On the morning of the 22nd of Jumadal Ukhra, Syedna proceeded for ziarat after Fajr Imamat Namaaz in Ivan-e-Fatemi. Syedna removed the old sundal and performed ghaseel of the Qabar Mubarak.
On the eve of Urus Mubarak, the 23rd of Jumadal Ukhra, after Maghrib Isha Namaaz in Ivan-e-Fatemi, Syedna prayed two rak’aat tawassul of Syedna Qutbuddin. After Khatmul Quran Syedna prayed Sadaqallah Doa in which he eloquently described the exalted position of Syedna Qutbuddin and his shanaat. After Sadaqallah, the Salaam composed by Syedna Fakhruddin in remembrance of Syedna Qutbuddin (Salamul ‘alayka a Qutbal-Huda) was recited by all Mumineen. After waaz mubarak Syedna proceeded with all Mumineen for Urus night ziarat. Sundal was placed on the Qabar Mubarak as well as barakati ghilaaf from Amirul Mumineen SA zarih mubarak, Imam Husain SA Zarih, Syedna Hatim RA and Syedna Taher Saifuddin RA Qabar Mubarak. Mumineen were served Salawaat and Fateha Jaman in Ivan-e-Fatemi.
On Urus Mubarak day, Syedna Fakhruddin performed the Ta’sees (foundation ceremony) of Syedna Qutbuddin’s Qubba Mubaraka at 10.53 AM. Syedna had announced in the Waaz the previous night that the Qubba Mubaraka foundation would be laid on Urus Mubarak day and he prayed that it be built in a manner that, “it would shine for the people of the heavens as the stars shine for the people of earth.” Syedna also revealed that – just as Rozat Tahera – the entire Quran Majeed would be written on the inner walls of the Qubba Mubaraka.
After the foundation ceremony, Syedna Fakhruddin presided over Khatmul Quran Majlis in the cool shade of Syedna Qutbuddin’s Roza Mubaraka. After Khatmul Quran, Syedna recited Sadaqallah Doa followed by Qasida in remembrance of Syedna Ismail Badruddin Bawa RA (Allahu Yansuru Da’watan lit-Tayyibi) and Salaam in remembrance of Syedna Qutbuddin RA (Salamul ‘alayka a Qutbal-Huda). Qasidas and Marsiyas in remembrance of Syedna Qutbuddin that were composed on the occasion of Urus Mubarak were recited with Maulana’s raza Mubarak. Syedna then proceeded for ziarat and all Mumineen received the Sharaf of ziarat with Syedna Fakhruddin (Syedna ye ziarat karawi). Syedna then led Zohr-Asar Namaaz and Mumineen were served Salawaat and Fateha Jaman in Ivan-e-Fatemi.
