53rd Milad of Dai-z-Zaman Syedna Taher Fakhruddin TUS – 26th Rabiul Aakhar 1440H

We were most fortunate to celebrate the 53rd Milad of Syedna Taher Fakhruddin TUS, a Dai of Imamuz-zamaan SA whose coming into this world was destined to change the course of history and the destiny of hundreds of thousands of Mumineen; to lead to the salvation (najaat) of millions of souls toward eternal life in Jannat; to protect the Dawat and Mumineen from the attacks of its enemies; to destroy the plots and machinations of those enemies; to free Mumineen from the clutches of such pharaohs; and to bring glorious victory (fathe mubeen) and prosperity for the Dawat of Imamuz-Zaman.
Preparations for this joyous occasion, an Eid for Mumineen, began days before the date arrived. Darus Sakina was alive with the hum of activity day after day. The planning, the announcements, the venue, its decorations, the menu, were only a few of the things that needed to be looked into.
The celebrations began on the eve of the Mubarak Milad, the night of 26th Rabiul-Akhar. Mumineen had come from all over India and the world to take barakaat. Syedna Fakhruddin TUS lead Maghrib Isha namaaz, and then graced the luminous Milad Majlis with his Imami presence. The Majlis began with the barakat of Quran Majeed recitation. The heart-moving voice of Shehzada Dr. Husain bhaisaheb Burhanuddin, son of Syedna Khuzaima Qutbuddin RA, who is a Hafizul-Quran, reciting the Ayat al-Nur, reverberated through the majlis.
After recitation of qasida, Syedna Fakhruddin TUS blessed Mumineen and the Majlis with invaluable jewels from the treasures of the ilm of Ale Mohammed, reciting the hamd and salawaat ibarat from Syedna Taher Saifuddin’s RA Risalat Sharifa 'Takbiru Sakinati Fathin Mubeen'. Syedna TUS explained the depth of meaning in the Risalat, emphasizing the continuity of the silsila of Da’wat and the true meaning of “fathe mubeen”. Syedna also bestowed Mumineen with priceless doa Mubarak. An excerpt of Syedna TUS waaz was then broadcast worldwide via YouTube.
Three nights between the Milad of Syedna Taher Fakhruddin TUS and Syedna Khuzaima Qutbuddin RA, Aqa Maula TUS granted Mumineen the priceless inayat of ilm of Ale Mohammad in three sabaqs. Maulana TUS read and explained the meaning of verses from Syedna Taher Saifuddin RA’s qasida on Aql (the Intellect). The depths and vastness of Syedna Fakhruddin’s knowledge was apparent, and Syedna TUS gave exposition for two hours in each sabaq on one single line of the qasida. Syedna TUS drew a vivid picture of the meaning and purpose in a Mumin’s life, and gave invaluable guidance, teaching and inspiration to all those listening.
Syedna Fakhruddin TUS also graciously granted sharaf of ziyafat to Mumineen throughout the days between the two Milads. On the eve of Milad of Syedna Khuzaima Qutbuddin RA, Syedna Fakhruddin TUS lead Maghrib Isha namaz and then presided over Majlis where Darees was recited.
On the 28th of Rabiul Aakhar Mumineen and Muninaat of Halqa Saifiyyah received Sharaf of ziafat. These are Mumineen and Muminaat who have been obtaining the barakat of Ilm of Aal-e-Mohammed from Zumurrudatu Da’watil Haqq Shehzadi Dr. Bazat Saifiyah baisaheba for many years. Shehzadi Saheba conducts more than ten halqas every week spanning the different genres of ‘Ilm including Haqiqat, Taweel, Fiqeh, Akhbaar and Risaalat. Halqa members had prepared a representation of the amsaal of Jannat with a beautiful garden background to Maulana TUS bethak. Halqa members also received the Sharaf and opportunity of reciting madehs, presenting speeches and skits in Maulana’s TUS presence. Maulana TUS graced Halqa members with his irshaadat and guidance on seeking ‘Ilm of Aale Mohammed and bestowed doa Mubarak for them.
There was also khushi jaman on all nights in between and including the two Milads - including a festive barbecue - and also on the eve of pehli Tarikh of Jamadil Ula, when there was also majlis and qadambosi of Aqa Maula TUS.
On the day of Syedna Qutbuddin's RA Milad, which was a Sunday, Mumineen had organized a sports program in the Darus Sakina grounds itself, in which a Milad cricket tournament was played in the morning. Children’s sports were also played. Syedna Fakhruddin, before Zohor time, graced the occasion and presented prizes to the winning teams. In the afternoon, women’s sports were also held, where a volley ball and badminton tournament was organized. There was a festive atmosphere of joy, fraternity, brotherhood and friendship throughout the day. Snacks and sandwiches were served to all the participants and to the many in the audience.
