Aqa Husain SA Chehlum Waaz Highlights & Photos

On the solemn occasion of Imam Husain SA Chehlum, Syedna Khuzaima Qutbuddin TUS delivered waaz Mubarak in Darus Sakina.

Aqamaula TUS did purdard zikar of the museebat of Aqa Husain SA in Karbala and of the Qafela of Ahle Bayt after Ashura as they were driven from Karbala to Kufa to Shaam, a journey of a 1000 Km. Syedna TUS did the zikar of Maulatuna Zainab’s AS khutba and her khidmat and protection of Imam Ali Zainul Aabedeen in the court of Ubaydullah bin Ziyaad in Kufa. Syedna TUS also narrated the heart rending zikar of Ubaydullah bin Ziyaad in Kufa touching the lips of Imam Husain with his stick in the presence of Zayd bin Arqam. When Zayd realized that this was Rasul Husain (the severed head of Aqa Husain) he fell to the ground and told Ubaydullah that as God is my witness I have seen Rasulullah SA kissing these very lips. Syedna stated that there are those in this time too that deny the closeness of Syedna to Syedna Burhanuddin and Syedna Taher Saifuddin, just as Ubaydullah ignored Rasulullah’s SA affection towards Imam Husain SA.

Syedna also narrated the zikar of Rasul Husain SA being placed in Yazid’s court in the presence of the Byzantine emissary. The emissary decried Yazid and never visited him again.

Mu’awiya – though he was an enemy of Maulana Ali SA – told his son Yazid not to go openly in battle against Imam Husain SA, as that would spell the end of his dynasty. Surely, soon after Karbala, Yazid’s power declined. Similarly, the prowess of the Mughal Empire severely declined after Aurangzeb ordered the execution of Maulana Qutbuddin al-Shaheed RA. Syedna TUS emphasized that this is indeed a warning for those bear animosity for the Imam and his Dai.

Syedna bestowed much doa for Mumineen during waaz Mubarak. Towards the end of the waaz he said, “by the wasila of Imam Husain SA, may Allah Ta’ala fulfill all our wishes. One wish we all have is that may Allah Ta’ala grant us the opportunity for Imam Husain’s SA ziarat, Rasul Husain’s ziarat….Bawajisaheb (Syedna Taher Saifuddin RA) built the zarih of Imam Husain in Karbala and Rasul Husain in Misar; may Allah Ta’ala grant afzalul-jazaa’ in the highest levels of Jannat and may He give him a most elevated position in the shad of Imam Husain SA. Likewise, may Allah Ta’ala keep Syedna Burhanuddin RA – who always did zikar of Imam Husain SA, who always did matam of Imam Husain SA – may Allah Ta’ala keep him next to Bawajisaheb (Syedna Taher Saifuddin RA) and with Imam Husain SA (in Jannat). And may Allah Ta’ala grant us the ne’mat that we (in aakherat) reside in their (Syedna Taher Saifuddin and Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin) benign shade, in the shade of Imam Husain SA. ….
