Ashara Mubaraka 1443H - Syedna Taher Fakhruddin TUS | Remembrance of Imam Husain SA

“Our year starts with the remembrance of Husain and the ilm of Aal-e-Mohammad,” said Syedna Taher Fakhruddin TUS in his first waaz, as he recounted the blessings of our Duaat Kiram and how they established the tradition of waaz in Muharram.

Syedna Taher Fakhruddin TUS performed Ashara Mubaraka 1443H waaz mubarak on Takht-e-Imami in Darus Sakina, Bakersfield, USA with great shaan, and delivered deeply meaningful orations about faith in Allah Ta’ala and his Awliya’: Panjetan Paak, Imams, and Dais. He gave us guidance for this world and the Hereafter. He imparted priceless and countless pearls of wisdom to Mumineen, filling every Mumin’s heart with barakat. He narrated the tragedy of Karbala, as if he had witnessed Karbala, and our tears flowed.

Syedna’s waaz was broadcast live throughout Ashara Mubaraka 1443H. Mumineen around the world were blessed with receiving the ilm of Aal-e-Mohammed and zikr of Imam Husain AS directly from the Dai-z-zamaan.

Many Mumineen gathered in Bakersfield, California to attend Syedna’s waaz sermons, while families around the world gathered in their homes to listen to the sermons virtually. Despite the physical distance, Mumineen felt as if they were in Syedna’s presence, sitting in front of him, listening to his nooraani kalemaat which nourished their souls. Syedna said in his first waaz, “I say to all of you Mumineen, all those who have my mohabbat in their hearts, that you are all with me, in front of me, rather, all of you are in my heart. Do not be apprehensive, hear Imam Husain’s zikr and do maatam with me.” The deep spiritual connection was ever present throughout every waaz. No Mumin felt alone.

Every day, for over two hours, Syedna’s voice flowed into Mumineen’s homes, bridging thousands of miles and reaching each Mumin’s heart, filling it with barakat.

Each day, Syedna delivered precious knowledge of history and the hidden, deep (taweel) bayaans of our Awliyaa’, showering Mumineen with priceless pearls of knowledge and illuminating our souls.

Syedna, our spiritual father, also gave precious life lessons and wise counsel to Mumineen in every waaz with affection and care. He guided Mumineen on how to live a balanced life in this world and prepare for the Hereafter. Syedna did heartfelt dua for Mumineen, for our families, marriage, children, education, rozi, all aspects of our lives, and blessed us with countless barakaat.

At the conclusion of each waaz, when Syedna recited Husain Imam’s shahadat, Mumineen saw the noor of Husain himself, in his Dai’s peshani. We felt as if we were transported to Karbala, witnessing first hand what the Ahle Bayt and Ashaab suffered. Syedna brought to life the heart wrenching events of Karbala with great fervor and intensity, bringing cries of “Ya Husain!'' from each Mumin’s heart. As Syedna wept for the hardships that the Ahle Bayt and Ashaab of Husain endured, streams of tears flowed from every Mumin’s eyes. As Syedna described Imam Husain’s SA last bow to Allah in sajda, our hearts were shattered with grief and eyes overflowed with tears that ensured our darajaat in Jannat.

We offer endless gratitude to Syedna TUS for bestowing upon us the barakat of ilm of Aal-e-Mohammed and illuminating our souls with its noor, while knowing that no amount of gratitude will ever be enough for this azeem ne’mat. May Allah Ta’ala grant Syedna Taher Fakhruddin the longest life until Qiyamat.
