Maulatuna Fatema AS Shahaadat Majlis 1438H

Syedna Taher Fakhruddin TUS presided over the Shahaadat Majlis of Maulatuna Fatema SA on the eve of the 10^th of Jumadal Ula 1438H (4^th February 2017) at Ivan-e-Fatemi, Darus Sakina, Mumbai after Maghrib Isha Namaaz.

The Majlis began with Tilawatul-Quran by Shehzada Dr. Husain Bhaisaheb Burhanuddin. He recited the Quranic Ayat “ayawaddu ahudukum” (Surat al-Baqara: 266) which describes the tragedy of Ahle Bayt after Rasulullah SA: “Does any of you wish that he should have a garden with date-palms and vines and streams flowing underneath, and all kinds of fruit, while he is stricken with old age, and his children are not strong - that the garden should be caught in a whirlwind, with fire therein, and be burnt up?”. (Sijill article 38, Rasulullah's SA Waari, refers to this Ayat in the context of the tragedy of Karbala). Mumineen were given the Arabic text and Dawat-ni-Zaban fehwa and English translation of the ayat at the beginning of the Majlis.

The eloquent Qasida composed by Syedna Taher Saifuddin RA “Maulatuna Fatematuz-zahra” was recited as well as Salaams and Marsiyahs written by Shehzadi Sahebas.

Syedna Fakhruddin then delivered bayaan mubarak in which he recited the Quranic Ayat “those who believe and do good deeds (salihaat) - for them is Jannat (Tuba) and the best of returns (husn-u-ma'ab)” (Surat al-Ra’d: 29). Syedna TUS explained the meanings of this verse and did zikr of Maulatuna Fatema SA and her unique maqaam. Syedna then recounted the tragic events after Rasulullah’s SA wafaat, Maultuna Fatema’s hujjat, her pain, her shafa’at and her shahaadat. Taking the wasila of Maultuna Fatema, Syedna beseeched doa for Fatemi Dawat and those who follow its rightful path.
