Shehzada Dr Aziz Bhaisaheb Chief Guest of Online Seminar for World Arabic Language Day

Shehzada Dr Aziz Bhaisab Qutbuddin was invited as the Chief Guest by Dr M. Isharat Ali Molla, Patron-in-Chief of Calcutta University Arabic Alumni Association (CUASAA), to the International Webinar on Ligua-cultural Pluralism between Arabic and World language. On the occasion of World Arabic Language Day, Shz Dr Aziz Bhaisaheb addressed the 120 participants in Arabic and encouraged the spirit of harmony and co-existence during the commencement session of the online seminar.
Highlighting the cohesive potential of language exchange, Shz Dr Aziz Bhaisaheb emphasised how the cultural amalgamation of Arabic and Indian languages is a manifestation of how cultures and faiths can coexist harmoniously. He said, ” The study of linguistic pluralism contains lessons in the pluralism of religions and races and represents a basis for the rapprochement between sects and peoples.” In this talk, he further discussed the symbiosis of Arabic and Indian languages over the years which has facilitated a robust cultural exchange and understanding. With this he urged scholars of the Arabic language to facilitate and foster building of bridges across cultures and communities.
Shz Dr Aziz Bhaisaheb’s talk was very well received and referenced by participants. Many participants expressed interest in working with the Qutbi Jubilee Scholarship Program and its academic initiatives, especially with regards to “Taqreeb.” At the end of his talk, Shz Dr Aziz Bhaisaheb prayed for peace among all communities.
