Syedna Taher Fakhruddin TUS began his fourth waaz sermon stating that the true manifestations of the words of Allah are his Awliya - they are the words of Allah. He countered the claim of those upon falsehood that nass may change, quoting verse 64 from Surat-e-Yunus, stating that Allah’s words - his Awliya - can never change.

Syedna TUS explained 7 facets of taweel meaning of the Qur’anic verse quoted in the beginning. He put forth rational arguments for the existence of taweel (symbolic meanings of the Qur’an), who the knowledge of taweel should be taken from, and its imperative importance in correctly understanding the Qur’an. He quoted numerous other Qur’anic verses on ‘Allah’s words’ elucidating the hidden meanings they encompass.

Syedna TUS concluded his waaz with the narration of the shahaadat of Hurr AS, his acceptance of Husain Imam’s AS Dawat, and his sacrifice in Karbala. Syedna TUS then prayed the shahadat of Imam Husain AS, as the sound of ‘Ya Husain, Ya Husain’ echoed throughout.
