In the present circumstances we wish to highlight the challenges that previous Dais faced in establishing and maintaining the rights of the Dai al-Mutlaq. In the 1918-1919 Chanda bhai Gulla Case, Syedna Taher Saifuddin himself gave testimony for over a month. The hearings took place at the residence of Judge Martin and later at a rented Bungalow.
