بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
فَإِذَا عَزَمْتَ فَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى اللَّهِ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ الْمُتَوَكِّلِينَ*
إِن يَنصُرْكُمُ اللَّهُ فَلَا غَالِبَ لَكُمْ ۖ وَإِن يَخْذُلْكُمْ فَمَن ذَا الَّذِي يَنصُرُكُم مِّن بَعْدِهِ ۗ وَعَلَى اللَّهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ*
'When thou hast taken a decision put thy trust in Allah. For Allah loves those who put their trust (in Him).
If Allah helps you, none can overcome you: If He forsakes you, who is there, after that, that can help you? In Allah, then, let believers put their trust'

Throughout Shehrullah al-Mo’azzam, Syedna Khuzaima Qutbuddin TUS occupied his time in bandagee, prayer, and do’a. He particularly beseeched do’a for the safeguarding and hifazat of Da’wat and for aid and yaari from Imamuz-zaman SA.
The 13th Dai al-Mutlaq, Syedna Ali bin Syedna Ibrahim RA in Yemen had established his control over the fortress named Kawkabaan. Soon after, one of the enemies of Da’wat gathered a large army and men converged on Kawkabaan from far and wide. While this army surrounded Kawkabaan, a man from the tribe of Hamdaan entered in Syedna Ali’s hazrat after Fajr namaaz. The man found Syedna Ali in the Mehraab reciting Qur’an. The man offensively said, “you are reciting the Qur’an while these armies march and converge on Kawkabaan?” Syedna Ali simply responded, “’awnullah” (Allah’s aid and yaari).
The man from Hamdaan walked out ridiculing Syedna, repeating the words “’awnullah”. As it happened, soon after that, information came that a disagreement and clash had arisen between the enemy and his accomplices. The enemy became concerned about clashes in San’a and hurriedly returned to it. The army that had gathered had now dispersed.
Syedna Ali bin Syedna Ibrahim traveled to Hamdaan soon after. When he arrived there, he said “where is the man who ridiculed my statement ‘awnullah (Allah’s aid and yaari)? Did he not see that Allah Ta’ala’s aid and yaari came through?”
Syedna al-Mu’ayyad beseeches Allah Ta’ala in one of his do’as which we recite in the last ten days of Shehrullah al-Mo’azzam: Allah, I ask you by their elevated station, and by their lofty names and nobility: “Whosoever unsheathes a sharp sword to strike me with, strike him by the very sword that he has unsheathed. Whosoever levels a long spear to pierce me with, pierce him with the very spear that he has levelled. Whosoever stokes the fire of conspiracy to burn me with, burn him with the very fire that he has stoked.”
Syedna Qutbuddin’s TUS reliance and tawakkul in the challenges faced by Da’wat today is on Allah Ta’ala and the aid, yaari and ta’yeed of Allah’s waliyy.
May Allah Ta’ala grant nasre-aziz and fathe-mubeen to Imamuz-zaman’s Da’i and safeguard his Da’wat.
