Bandagi ma Zindagi | A Life of Worship - Syedna TUS Anwaar-ul-Qur’an Sabaq 1443H Excerpt

This Ramadan, Syedna Taher Fakhruddin TUS has delivered Anwaar-ul-Qur’an Sabaq to Mumineen, in which Aqa Maula TUS did bayan on the true inner meanings of Surat al-Hamd. Mumineen from all over the world have been participating in this live sabaq both in person and online.

In the eighth and ninth sabaq, concluding the bayaan on the meanings of the fourth ayat of Surat al-Hamd, ‘it is You we worship, and it is You we seek aid from’ (“iyyaka na’budu wa iyyaka nasta’een”), Syedna imparted priceless pearls of guidance. He explained the virtues of a life of bandagi – a life of worship.

Syedna teaches us that it is vital to seek aid for worship and to approach worship with the right mindset. He narrates how our Mawaali Tahereen worshiped the Almighty and shows us how to follow in their path. He also relates examples from his own life of the conviction with which to approach worship.

Syedna also expounds philosophy of worship and how it is a path to elevate us from this material world to the world of spirituality. He also explains how our entire life can be in Allah’s worship without forsaking our worldly responsibilities and pleasures.
