Syedna's TUS Statement Against Discrimination Based on Religious Grounds

The 54th Dai al-Mutlaq and head of the Dawoodi Bohra community His Holiness Syedna Taher Fakhruddin TUS has always propagated and promoted, not only mere tolerance but, inter-faith and inter-community acceptance and understanding, and continues to do so. In this regard, he treads in the footsteps of his predecessors the 52nd Dai al-Mutlaq His Holiness Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin Saheb RA, and the 53rd Dai al-Mutlaq His Holiness Syedna Khuzaima Qutbuddin Saheb RA.

Syedna Fakhruddin condemns all efforts and policies being fostered today which seek to exclude people from any society, economy, or nation on the basis of their religion, gender or ethnic background. Syedna Fakhruddin especially condemns actions and policies which seek to disadvantage and undermine peaceful and innocent Muslims across the world.

Syedna Fakhruddin hopes that all political, religious, and community leaders will share his commitment to foster the universal principles of peace, understanding, cooperation, and selflessness, for the good of all humanity.

Syedna Fakhruddin said, “our philosophy is based on the saying of our Prophet Mohammed SA that all people in this world are the children of God, and the most beloved toward God are those who benefit His children the most.”
