فَوَلِّ وَجْهَكَ شَطْرَ الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ وَإِنَّهُ لَلْحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّكَ وَمَا اللَّهُ بِغَافِلٍ عَمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ
Masjide Haraam (Baitullah) ni taraf tawajjoh karo, ye Khuda Ta’ala thaki haqq chhe. Khuda tamara amal si ghaafil nathi.
Surat al Baqarah: 149
15 mi Shaban ni ahammiyat ane thum washeq ni ma’na par aa maqaalat Shehzada Dr. Aziz Bhaisaheb ye 1436H ma likho tho. Ye maqaalat ni audio sunwaane play dabaawo.
15 mi Shaban nu sharaf ane namaaz ni ma’na:
Shaban no mahino Rasulullah SA no mahino chhe. Ye mahina ni 15 mi raate (lailatun nisf) Rasulullah ne Khuda nu farmaan thayu ke Masjide Haraam ni taraf, Baitullah ni taraf namaaz parho. (Pehla namaaz Masjide Aqsa ni taraf parhta tha.) Qur’an ma upar ni ayat ma ye mubarak mauqe ni zikr chhe. Sagli Qur’an ni ayato ni misal, aa ayat ma bhi ghani ma’ani chhe. Ye ma’ani apna Hudaat Kiraam ye kitabo ma bayaan farmawi chhe. Ek bayaan em chhe ke 15 mi Shaban Rasulullah na mahina nu wasat (midpoint) chhe. To ye raat Rasulullah na dawat na 2 hissa par dalaalat kare chhe. Ek hisso tanzeel – je Rasulullah ne wahye aayu ke je Qur’an Majeed ane shariat ma samaaelu chhe. Bijo hisso taweel – tanzeel ma je ma’ani samaaeli chhe. Rasulullah taweel bayaan karwanu Maulana Ali AS ne sopu.
Aa raat nu sharaf azeem chhe. Ehma barakaat na baarish warse chhe. Maulana Ali ye farmaayu ke waras ma je 4 ziyada ma ziyada mubarak raato chhe ehma si ek raat 15 mi Shaban ni raat chhe. Biji 3 raato 1) 27 mi Rajab ni raat (Me’raj ni raat), 2) Eidul Fitr ni raat, 3) Eidul Adha ni raat. Lailatul Qadr ye 4 raat ma si ek nahi ginaati kemke Lailatul Qadr ni shaan niraali chhe. Amirul Mumineen ye farmayu chhe ke ye 4 raato Mumin ne faqat ibaadat ane Allah Ta’ala ni zikr ma guzaarwi joiye. Apna Hudaat na irshaad mutabiq apne ye 4 raato ma washeq ni tatawwo’ ni namaaz parhye chhe. Magar 15 mi Shaban na washeq ni niraali shakelat chhe. Ye washeq thum washeq si olkhaai chhe kemke ehma ghana lambaan tak khara rehwanu hoi chhe. Ane namaaz parhnaar thum ni misal hoi chhe.
Washeq ni 14 rak’at Imam-uz-zaman na hudood ane ehni ma’refat par dalaalat kare chhe. Ane ye 14 hudood ni ginti ma Dai ane Mazoon shaamil chhe.
Satr na zaman ma apne Dai ni wisaatat si ye sagla hudood na ilm ane hidayat nu noor mile chhe ane ehni ma’refat karye chhe. Apne shukr karye ke dunya ma hazaaro lakho logo ma si apne naseeb thayu ke apne Imam-uz-zaman na Dai, Haqq na Dai Syedna Taher Fakhruddin TUS ni ma’refat karye chhe. Ehna saath chhe. Ye hudood apne tahmeed – Allah Ta’ala no hamd ane shukr ni taraf hidayat de chhe (Surat ul Hamd 14 waar). Ane apne tauheed ni taraf bulaawe chhe, Khuda Ta’ala yakta chhe em dalaalat kare chhe (Qul Howallaho Ahad 14 waar). Ane apne isti’aazat – hasad ane shar na logo si Allah Ta’ala na nazdeek panaah talab karwu sikhaawe chhe (Qul A’uzo Be Rabbil Falaq Ane Qul A’uzo Be Rabbin Naas 14-14 waar). Ye hudood apne Maulana Ali na ilaahi maqaam ni taraf hidayat de chhe. Je na waaste apne ek waar Ayatul Kursi ni tilawat karye chhe. Thum washeq parhi ne ane hudood ni ma’refat kari ne apne wo logo ma si chhu ke jene Allah Ta’ala ye zulmat ane andherpan si noor ane roshni ni taraf hidayat didi chhe.
ٱللَّهُ وَلِىُّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ يُخْرِجُهُم مِّنَ ٱلظُّلُمَـٰتِ إِلَى ٱلنُّورِ
Dawat ma apna azam ane iraada ma thum ni misal mazboot khara rehwu:
15 mi raat no washeq parhwu aasaan nathi. Itna lamba time tak khara rehwu ane ibaadat par dhyaan dewu mushkil chhe. Yej misal Awliyaullah ane ehna hudood ni walaayat ane ta’at ma mazboot khara rehwu hamesha aasaan nahi hotu. Ghani waar mushkilo khamwi parhe chhe. Dunya ma to ghani alag alag mashghooliyat hoi chhe pun zaruri chhe ke jem apne apna jisam si Baitullah ni taraf tawajjoh karye chhe yej misal apna jaan si Imam-uz-zaman ni taraf tawajjoh karye ane Imam-uz-zaman na Dai ni walaayat ane ta’at ma mazboot khara rahye. Imam-uz-zaman ni taraf pohnchwa waaste ekaj rasto chhe ye kon ke Dai-z-zaman. Najaat haasil karwane ekaj rasto chhe ye kon ke Dai-z-zaman.
Aa mauqe ma ye bhi zikr karye ke dawat na dushmano Syedna Burhanuddin RA na Mazoon ane Mansoos ne jhutawani koshish ma Mazoon na rutba ni dushmani kari betha, je rutba par 15 mi Shaban na washeq ni 14 rak’at ni ek rak’at dalaalat kare chhe. Dai na saathe Mazoon no rutbo bhi ye 14 hudood ma si ek chhe. Aa sagla hudood, jema Mazoon na rutba bhi shumaar chhe, Khuda ni tauheed ni taraf ane sirate mustaqim ni taraf hidayat de chhe.
In the month of Shabaan, the month of Rasulullah SA, the eve of the 15th of Shabaan (lailatun-nisf) the night in which Rasulullah was divinely instructed to face the Ka’ba, Masjid-e-Haraam, when praying namaaz. (Earlier, namaaz was prayed facing Masjid-e-Aqsa). This historic occasion is referred to in the Qur’an in the ayat quoted above. As is the case with all Quranic ayats, the ayat above also has a deeper meaning which our Hudaat have expounded in our kitaabs. One significance explained is that the 15th of Shabaan is the midpoint of the month of Rasulullah, thereby this night signifies the marker between the two parts of Rasulullah’s Dawat: 1) Tanzeel – the revelation received by Rasulullah and presented in the Qur'an and Shariat and 2) Ta’weel – the meanings embedded in the revelation, the elucidation of which was delegated by Rasulullah to Maulana Ali SA.
For historic and symbolic reasons, this night is one of the most auspicious in the Islamic calendar. Maulana Ali SA said that the eve of 15th Shabaan is one of the four most auspicious nights in the year (the other three are: 1) the eve of the 27th of Rajab (Me’raj ni raat), 2) the eve of Eid-ul-Fitr, 3) the eve of Eid-ul-Adha - Lailatul Qadr is not included in these four nights because it is on a different level by itself). Amirul Mumineen said that on these four nights one should occupy himself only with the ‘ibaadat and remembrance of Allah Ta’ala. Therefore, our Hudaat guide us to pray tatawwu’ washeq namaaz on all these nights. The washeq on the 15th of Shabaan, however, is unique. It is known as ‘thumm washeq’ due to the length of the qiyaam (standing) in it, the one praying is like a thumm (pillar).
The 14 rak’ats of thumm washeq signify our acknowledgment and acceptance of the Hudood of the Imam that include the Dai and his Mazoon.
In this age of seclusion, we recognize these Hudood and receive the illumination of their knowledge and guidance through the Dai. We offer praise and thanks that among the billions of people in this world, we are fortunate to be with the True Dai of the Imam, Syedna Taher Fakhruddin TUS. These Hudood guide us to tahmeed – praise and gratitude of Allah Ta’ala (Surat al-Hamd 14 times), they guide us to tawheed – the Oneness of Allah Ta’ala (Surat Qul-Huwa’allaho Ahad 14 times), and they then teach us isti’aazat – to seek refuge in Allah from those with jealousy and ill-intent (Surat Qul-a’uzo Birab-bil-falaq 14 times and Surat Qul -a’uzo Birab-bin-naas 14 times). These Hudood guide us to the singular and unparalleled ilaahi-maqaam of Maulana Ali and it is for this reason we pray Ayat-ul-Kursi once. By praying this namaaz and recognizing the Hudood we are among the people whom Allah Ta’ala has guided from darkness to light.
“اللهُ وليٌّ الذين آمنوا يخرجهم من الظلمات الى النور”
To stand firm as a pillar (thumm) in our commitment to Dawat…
It is indeed an effort and a task to pray the 15th raat washeq: to stand straight and focus on ‘ibaadat for so long. The washeq is a manifestation of the effort required to stand firm in the walaayat and taa’at of Awliyaa’ullah and their Hudood. Distractions in this world are many but what is most important is that we face the Masjid-e-Haraam (the Ka’ba) with our bodies and the Imam, the spiritual Ka’ba, with our soul; and that we stand firm in our commitment and belief of the Imam’s Dai. He is our path to the Imam. He is our path to salvation.
It is also worth noting, at a time when Dawat’s enemies are attacking the very position of ‘Mazoon’ to try and discredit the veracity of Syedna Burhanuddin’s RA Mazoon and Mansoos, that the position of Mazoon is one of the 14 Hudood which are signified in the 15th Shabaan Washeq, alongside the Dai. This is but one example in which the position of the Mazoon is established as among the Hudood who lead to the Oneness of the Almighty and the straight path. A position that we have been recognizing in the Misaaq for 100s of years and been acknowledging through so many of our actions in ‘ibaadat, such as the 15th raat washeq. Those who did not accept Syedna Burhanuddin’s Mazoon in his lifetime had gone astray. After Syedna Burhanuddin’s wafaat, those who do not believe his Mansoos are truly misguided. The praying of the thumm washeq without recognizing, believing and trusting the Hudood that its 14 rak’ats signify is indeed pointless.
